After the first game, practices are three (3) days per week Tuesday through Thursday, 6:00pm to 8:00pm (All Levels except instructional remains same times). Changes will be announced. Typically, practices are held at White Lake Middle School. On occasion, however, practices must be moved to other fields. The Head Coach and/or Unit Director will inform parents of such developments.
Instructional parents must remain at the practice field during practice days and times. If unable to be at field, they must assign another parent or family member to be main contact for any situation that may arise in their absence during practice.
PRACTICE ATTENDANCE POLICY
If a participant cannot attend practice, he or she must inform his or her coach or unit director BEFORE practice starts that day. Missing practices hurts not only the individual, but also the entire team. Absences are excused for medical emergency, illness, religious or academic obligation. Absences for any other reason are unexcused. Unexcused absences could affect playing time on that weeks game at the discretion of the head coach. Unexcused absences are determined by the head coach.
PRACTICE: REFRESHMENTS
Snacks are not encouraged during practices. Participants should bring water in plastic containers clearly labeled with his or her name.
PRACTICE: INCLEMENT WEATHER
We practice in all other weather conditions. Coaches may limit or adjust their practices accordingly but all participants are to be at the practice field unless notified by their Unit Director. As weather conditions can change quickly, we encourage all our parents to remain for the duration of practice.
PRACTICE: PLAYER TRANSPORTATION
Safety is priority for our players. It is the head coach’s responsibility to assure their players are picked up and leave practices and games safely and with the appropriate person(s). The head coach is required to stay on the premises until all of their players have gone home. It is the parent’s responsibility to drop off and pick up his or her player on time. If the parent does not transport his or her player, the parent must provide written permission to the child’s coach to ride home with another person.
PRACTICE: MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
The Bronco Board and the coaches are also CPR and First Aid Certified.
