All new participants are assigned to a Team Color for their level in a random draft per KVYFC rules and supervised by the KVYFC. Once a participant is assigned a color, they will remain on that color as they progress through the different age levels. Siblings are assigned to the same color as their older veteran sibling.
What is the Lakeland Bronco Practice Attendance Policy?
Football is a team sport and the "team" relies on everyone's participation to be successful. It is important for everyone to be on time for every practice and game. Players need to be DRESSED and READY at least 5 minutes before practice begins. We know however that there are times when it is unavoidable to miss a practice or a game. If participants cannot attend a practice, they must inform their coach or unit director BEFORE practice starts that day. Missing practices hurts not only the individual but also the entire team. Absences are excused for medical emergency, illness, religious or academic obligation. Absences for any other reason are unexcused.
An unexcused absence is defined as a failure to notify a team coach prior to practice and/or reasons not deemed acceptable by the Head Coach.
What is the Lakeland Bronco Complaint Policy?
Despite our efforts to make your child’s experience a perfect one, we realize issues may arise. Should you have any issues with your coaches, please discuss the issue with your Unit Director. Lakeland Broncos requests that all parents exercise a 24-hour rule before confronting an issue, to allow for tensions to calm. Obviously if the issue is of great importance, please contact any Board member immediately.
